A friend and I came to check it out for the first time and we both loved it! Big, expansive park with many trail loops to choose from as well as nice open green areas and picnic spots for some quality family time! Plenty of trees to provide shade though some of the trail loops are in the full sun for a good portion. Trails are wide & well-maintained and are family and dog friendly. Oh and horses too!! Campsites look nice and spread out appropriately. Will def come back!

This is a great place to go for RV camping or just a day at the park. Lots of good hikes with fun bridges and a lake with cute ducks and geese. If you want to feed the ducks they ask that you bring healthy food instead of bread. Peas and kale are a good option! There is also a shaded park for kids.

This is a great place to spend some time with the family. There are miles of trails to hike, a nice little lake, abundant wildlife (including rattlesnakes), ample parking (for $3), camping and plenty of restrooms. My daughter and I just spent a few hours there today and had a very enjoyable time.

Love. This. Park. Such a great place to go walking!! I have stayed on the lake side, where it's shady- but that's plenty enough for me! There's a loop around the lake, and you will inevitably pass by/through a flock of geese and ducks.nThere are restrooms, a campground and a playground, none of which I have used.nPlenty of doggie clean up stations.n$3 a day for parking, or for $40 you can get an annual pass good at all the San Diego county Parks. There is also some limited street parking.

Great park. Has a bunch of ducks, geese that are friendly and will eat out of your hand. Having said that please still be cautious as they are wild animals still, and its better safe than sorry. Kids loved the park as well.
