I’m so grateful to have Dai Endurance in the area. There’s so much expertise under one roof I’m surprised this place isn’t a secret cycling society that requires initiation and a one time country club style donation. Nope, not the case, just swing in and say Hello. At first I was a little intimidated, mostly because I’d consider myself a “weekend warrior” cyclist and assumed everyone utilizing the facility were full time professionals, but I was quickly wrong when I walked in the door. The first thing I noticed was how nice and welcoming everyone was/is at Dai. The next thing I noticed was all the cool features of the facility. Wahoo trainers, Redcord (TRX style training), bike fittings, signed posters and bikes on the wall. Dai is what every athletic man cave (or women cave) would look like in my mind.nnI train at Dai for two main reasons – First, Expertise. I haven’t met anyone in the Sacramento area that’s been as helpful and welcoming with the depth of knowledge that Mike, Julie and their team bring to the table. From little tips and tricks that have helped me off the bike, to in depth conversations on training, new studies, and who has the best coffee on the grid. My bike fitting with Julie was a game changer for me, and I’ve never been more comfortable in the saddle.nnThe second main reason is the facility and all the tools available to make me a stronger athlete. The Wahoo trainers that are connected with Zwift are a fun way to ride indoors, or if you just want to change up your training during the week (climbing on the trainer should be considered hazing, it’s brutal and amazing at the same time). The Yoga classes have helped me stay agile and is an easy way to clear my head.nnOverall, I’d recommend Dai Endurance for any athlete that’s looking for a “one stop shop” for his/her training needs. I think every cyclist that’s looking to become a stronger rider should be walking through their door.
