Lena's food market

I stopped at this establishment just for cooked food only. I experienced about a total of 30mins(waiting to place and receive my order).nThey have a poor system for taking people orders and making sure the customer order is accurate.nI walked around just comparing prices and quality of products(meat,vegetables appeared fresh) but they're shelves was empty.nCheckout was friendly and quick.

An interesting place to shop, not your standard supermarkert, grocery store or SuperCenter. Lots of very unique ethnic food offerings. Not fancy at all but very interesting shopping experience.

I just don't know why this store is still open. Okay, I figured it out...there's a hot food deli that sale authentic southern foods. There's a couple of little old ladies that come in to pick greens and whip up good old comfort food. The food tastes pretty good. I just wish they had a better set up.

They had what I wanted, but I had to find it. When I asked for help they acted like I should know where everything was at. No help, just finger pointing.

I love shopping in Lena's. It saddens me that those in the African American community do not patronize them more. If they had more support they could build their business up again.
