Table Bluff North Parking

Lovely area with well marked trails. A mix of open meadows and forested bluffs. Easy to get to on paved roads and parking available.

Easy to spot gravel parking lot for hiking. Not many cars here. This entrance into table bluff segment will take you to Schefele Rd in 2.5 miles. We hiked about 1.8miles in and turned around and headed back. There were a few small loops along the way- we just followed the yellow markers, but I saw there were some white markers. Beautiful hike that takes you through meadows and into wooded areas. A lot of flowers blooming and saw a small blue bird and bunnies. There were some easy gradual uphill and downhill climbs in wooded areas. Trail was also narrow - wide enough for one person - in the wooded areas. Somewhat buggy. Got bit by a non-mosquito.

Great place for a quick hike through restored prairie and oak savanna. Nice loop down into the valley and along the hillsides. There is one spot which can have some water after heavy rains. I have only done the loop, looking forward to continuing into town.

Great hike with fantastic views at turn-around.

Great part of the Ice Age Trail. Loved it.
