One of the best on Block. Outstanding lobster mac. Good food, relatively small menu, but varied enough for all. Very nice staff. Occasional miss on cooking temps but probably due to volume.
It is very upscale restaurant. And food was good. But watch out your credit card bill! The wait staff increased tip by falsifying charged amount even after our 20% tip! We could find it out as we keep customer receipt all the time. It is not pleasant.
We got the Duck, the organic? Roasted chicken and a salad. I wasn't impressed with any of it. The duck was okay, edible.
The finest dining on Block Island, in my opinion. I'd call it modern American cooking, with French, Italian, and Asian influences. Seafood, poultry, beef, and vegetarian options. Spacious and attractive space. Nice white-linen tablecloth decor in the dining room, which is quiet enough for comfortable conversation. The bar area is a bit livelier, if that's your thing, but even that area is pretty low-key. If you want a really lively scene, check out the Yellow Kittens Tavern next door, which has the same owners. Better yet, have dinner at Winfield's and after-dinner drinks at the Yellow Kittens.
Been trying to get in there for the last few years but always so busy you never seem to work out. I went last night and it was fabulous, staff is excellent and it was delicious
