Easy and medium trails perfect for family walks or solo runs. Kayaking and fishing is underwhelming due to the size of the lake but the well upkept access and ease of use make this a fantastic afternoon any day of the week.
What a great park! We were here for the Fall Hiking Spree, but it's good all year around. It's a great place to swim. They also have nice well groomed and relatively flat hiking trails. We took our 3 year old and she did 2 miles with us just fine. Definitely worth a drive to the country.
A lot of really nice easy trails. Good place to trail run as long as it's not too muddy.
Good trails, good fishing, good canoeing. The trails are easy, but just rugged enough to remind you you’re in the forest. The bridle trail is usually very muddy.
Very nice place for a picnic or a walk. Very cool pine grove on the trail which is well worth the hike.
