Nice Cabernet. Nice and quiet on a Friday afternoon. The way I like it these days. There are a number of sweet wines being served, however I do not do sweet. Grounds are nice for a walk. Want a quiet getaway for wine and cheese outside Granville /Newark, this is it.

Great property but they should let you bring your own wine since we never got any from the winery. We arrived about 4:45 pm on Saturday night and sat down at an open table. I went up to the food truck to order pizza while my other half stayed at the table to order drinks. Once I returned from ordering food, about 10 minutes later, I learned that a server never came by. About 10 minutes later the pizza was ready and I went over to the truck to pick it up. Came back to the table, still no wine. We flagged down a lady and asked for service or if we could go to window or something to order. The server kept saying how busy they were and that we could only get three of the wines on the list for a tasting. We ate our pizza without anything to drink. I flagged down a guy walking around and asked if we could at least get some water while we ate. He seemed like he would help, but never saw him again. I finally walked into the service area inside and asked if we could please have some water. The lady inside, the same server we ordered from, gave me two bottles of water while she shuffled some papers around again saying how busy they were. After finishing pizza and waiting for the wine a little longer we decided to leave without ever getting any wine. My guess is 50 minutes passed between us arriving and leaving. I later heard that the lady came with our wine five minutes after we left and was surprised we left. What is more surprising is that we stayed as long as we did.

Friendly layed back atmosphere with live entertainment. Walk the beautiful property to see the stunning bridge,buildings and other gathering areas. Top this off with some impressive Ohio wines and it makes for a lovely evening.

Beautiful setting. Very good wine. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Good time!
