Went for 3 years. Great memories and lifelong friends! It is what you make of it.

Camp Kern is the best place on Earth! I have so many magical memories from when I went to summer camp and now my daughter does a too. Every year she can't wait for camp because it is the one place she feels free to express herself in her own way. She will always remember Camp Kern because she knows that she is always safe and welcome there. Her favorite activities are archery , rock climbing, canoeing, and chapel. Go to Camp Kern and you will NEVER EVER forget your amazing and in some cases life changing experience. It's the BEST camp ever! Also people say they pin you down and make you eat mulch and that is just a big lie. The staff and people there are so nice and no one there would do that and not get in big trouble. Also the cabins are air conditioned and the food is not fancy but it's Really Really good.

Our daughters have gone for years and both loved it. They come home from one week of camp with great stories to share for months. Now our oldest is getting ready for college and our youngest is there enjoying a week of fun, sun and most importantly Horses. Wish my parents had sent me when I was young! My only concern is one day we will go to pick our daughter up and she won’t want to leave! Thanks for providing these awesome experiences.
