Portal park is NOT the way to the skating drain pipe shown in the picture.The picture is a google maps misunderstanding.It is ,however next to it.Simply park on the right hand side(south side) of Lucky's Market.You will see a row of spaces across from theirs.Then walk straight down(east) and you will see it.There will be a path on your right that is steep.You don't have to take it,just go staight and you will get there.nBack in the day,when we went to North High we owned that ravine!No one else would ever venture down there!nIt's great to see it become a community spot!

This is a lovely park that is clean and a nice place for anyone to sit and relax. Every Wednesday at noon there is a Food Not Bombs food giveaway for anyone. No questions asked.

A old highschool ritual was to go in the tunnel at night. Sometimes there's homeless or druggies but always a good time. Every couple of months the graffiti on the opening changes.
