I had the privilege of living at 124 Columbia Hts from 97 to 02. I looked down on the Brooklyn promenade from my window. And I regularly would walk down it to enjoy the beautiful view. One of my coolest memories was watching the occasional fireworks from a barge in the East river, and hearing the boom echo through the skyscrapers in lower Manhattan.

Gorgeous sights, sounds and scenery. The Promenade is a beautiful space for everyone across board. I think a leisurely walk, sitting by yourself or spending moments with loved ones at the Brooklyn Promenade will leave a remarkable imprint forever with you.

This view never gets old. The skyline behind the tall buildings serve as a canvas backdrop that man could never replicate! Always a nice place to take a stroll!

Great view to the East side of Manhattan. Not much street parking, but nice.

The Promenade was one of the best things about living in Brooklyn Heights.nTo be able to walk a couple blocks and see Manhattan during sunset can't be beat. Sure, it's changed over the years, but it's still amazing. A truly NYC experience. I painted a portrait of this place in my series on 'Disappearing New York', which you can see or order prints on my website, kovalfineart dot com.
