HaRav Elimelech Bluth Zecher Tzadik Lvracha lchayei Olam Habbah was as close to Reb Moshe as Reb Reuven shlitah, & Reb Dovid shlitah (May he have a Refuah Shleimah) & Rav Moshe Tendler shlitah. As his Driver he was literarily the last of a generation who was mekabel the Mesorah of Torah she Baal Peh from one of Three Gaonim and was a shamash to such a Gaon attaining the other Mesorah. He was a warm engaging caring Rav and an Oheiv of Klal Yisrael from all spectrums of Torah Jews, From Chasidim to Yeshivish, to centered Orthodox Jews and who related to many. As he said to me once “I am a man of Many Hats”. When he was the Av Beis Din of Flatbush Vad, he had kesharim with Agudah & RCA rabanim as well as the OU and Rav Hershel Shachter of RIETS shlitah even after he became Marsh Deasrah. I’ve been a member only 3.5 years and when he was there his impact on the mispallelim was noticeable especially after his Petirah. The shul has a warm welcoming atmosphere and many regulars whose bein Adam Lchaveiro are mekadeish Sheim Shamayim.nThe 7:45/8 AM Minyan during the week is well paced and not a race to get out and to work.nOn Shabbos mornings there’s roughly 25 people on average so Distancing during this time of chaos is easily doable as well as weekday shacharis.nErev Shabbos and summer late Micha Maariv it does get more crowded, and mask wearing has been up to the individual. If one believes as Reb Moshe paskened that we should conduct ourselves based on medical expert guidelines during these uncertain times, and one is a Chiyuv Shacharis minyanim all week one can daven without much worry based on CDC & WHO’s knowledge of transmission and prevention as of July 2020. If you’re at a higher risk of severe symptoms and are familiar and following COVID guidance from a non-political stance You may want to daven Mincha & Maariv elsewhere or be’yechidus. There are masks and Clorox wipes available for those wishing to make use.nNusach Sefard tefillah, most mispallelim are of Galatzian or Chasidic decent based on how they wear their tefilin but their are litvaks as well. Growing up in Brooklyn it’s a diverse tolerant crowd of yireih shamayim in all areas be it Limud, honest parnasah, and bein Adom L’chaveiro.
