Foodtown of Prospect Heights

Never have a bad experience here. The staff Is always so nice , you can tell everyone is basically family ! The cashiers greet everyone, other places the cashiers aren't as nice. And while I get the neighborhood we are in is a semi high class one and I come from the bronx to walk a dog over here and come to food town, at least I get to feel that niceness no one else seems to want to give in other areas. So thanks guys. I appreciate you !

I came here last week to pick up asparagus for a recipe.The supermarket was a bit confusing and unorganized -- it took a bit to realize where the produce section was (it was my first time here). The store wasn't particularly clean and the people shopping there were quite rude. A couple of people walked into me like I didn't even exist. The cashier was okay, she didn't say hi or anything really...nnUpdated review -nI stopped here on my way to the park. The supermarket was clean and organized but, they did have boxes scattered around the aisles. I didn't see anyone stocking shelves so, I am assuming that's their permanent location. The supermarket had a fresh and wide selection of produce, dairy, meats, frozen food, and general grocery items. As the store is mid-size and packed to the brim, they have limited amount of variety for some items. However, I do appreciate that they sell ice cold water for $1.14 for a Poland Spring standard size bottle.

I appreciate foodtown so much for all the reasons mentioned in the review. A little lesser known is that they started carrying some asian buns, frozen dumplings, and fresh Asian noodles in a small section of the frozen isle.

Fresh food, clean interior, and a wide variety of brands to choose from - probably my favorite grocery store in the area.

Fresh fruits and veggies are there. Hygiene maintained and very responsive staff.
