If I could give this hospital negative stars I would. I have been in the ER since 9am it is now 6pm. Came with an painful abscess that needs to be drained but how and where the Doctors choose to do so is dependent upon my CT results. Due to the possibility of going to the Operating Room (OR) I am not allowed to eat. I have been waiting over 5 hours to do a simple CT. I work in radiology at a well known hospital, and understand the full procedure and steps of doing the CAT scan. I had different doctors come in and press on the same painful abscess for hours over and over. It is now 6 pm and I am still waiting with no prevail. I now have a fever, an abscess can be life threatening if the infection gets bad and turns into sepsis.nnPLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT COME TO THIS ER IF YOU ARE IN NEED. Your chances of being neglected and ignored are very high.nnUpdate: a whole 12 hours later and have not received treatment (drainage or antibiotics) for my skin infection

I have not been here in a few years, but when I did have to go. None of my experiences were bad. I recently had to go to get tested for Covid and the process was very fast and smooth. The nurses were cool and professional.

One of the worst hospital experiences I have ever encountered. I came into the ER a year ago and I Had to wait 10 Hours to see someone....10 hours!!!!! I’m not sure why I ever decided to come back here for my Covid vaccine. Made an appointment for 6pm, showed up and was about to be the next person vaccinated when they told me they have no more vaccines. How are they not able to know this at least an hour before I arrive? Why did they not call or email me and others waiting? Horrible!!!!

You have to wait so long. To the point of it being completely ridiculous. The neighborhood itself is not particularly great. That is not a fault of the hospital itself, but be wary of who walks in there. I went to Kings County out of convenience, but I do not think it is the best hospital out there.

Horrible experience. I passed out and arrived around 1pm and was discharged at around 7pm. Whole 6hrs in the ER and they did absolutely NOTHING. I passed out at work and ambulance took me to this hospital. During triage they sticked my finger and and hour later said it wasn’t in the system and did it 3 more times by 3 different people who didn’t know if anyone did it previously because it “wasn’t in the system”. Sitting with head pain not knowing if I hit my head when I passed out or not also pelvic pain. After 6hrs in pain I was given Tylenol and sent home.nnI requested a cat scan because my head hurt so bad and they said no. I requested an ultrasound for pelvic pain and they again said no. I advised them that At Methodist hospital they take all precautions to check out every concern to be sure. Dr. Edwin Rosendo said “In this ER if it’s not life or death we don’t help you. This is something you must request through your PCP.” I asked to speak to the supervisor to confirm this information and he agreed with the Dr statement.nnSo I basically paid $150 copay to sit in a COVID infested ER for 6hrs to be given Tylenol and sent home.nnALSO... bathrooms are so disgusting and was not cleaned. There was blood in the bathroom on the floor by the toilet when I arrived. 6hrs later before leaving the same stains were on the floor. Disgusting. I hope to never return to this horrible place ever in life.
