Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Mt. Kisco

The Fred Astaire of Mount Kisco family have made my wife and I so happy. She shines because of her work with Igor and the work I am doing with Vera is bringing my dancing and my fulfillment of dance to a greater level every practice. We are so thankful for the personality, communication and happiness in the studio that has inspired us to have the most fun and excitement from dance possible! Thank you to the FA of Mt Kisco family for everything, and this is just the beginning :)

I have been a student at Fred Astaire Mt. Kisco for 8 months. Ihor is my primary instructor and in addition to being an outstanding teacher and world class dancer, he is exceptionally professional, kind, and fun. His knowledge of dance is unparalleled - he is well trained in both American and International styles and teaches all ages (children - adults) and ability levels. He has excellent communication and listening skills, and has particularly strong organizational abilities. He is highly supportive and encouraging. His integrity is unmatched.nnIhor has a deep understanding of what students need to meet their goals. He always makes lessons interesting and enjoyable. Ihor truly cares about his students. He is just the best!!nnVera is also an outstanding dancer and teacher. She teaches all ages and ability levels. Vera is extremely attentive and gives 100 percent to all her students. She is a lot of fun and is very knowledgeable about all dance styles. Vera always has a good plan to help her students reach their goals. She is also just a truly wonderful person and any student would be lucky to have her as their teacher.nnJF

Eugene is an excellent, professional, encouraging and empowering teacher! If you want to learn at any level, he and Igor do a fantastic job!nnWe first came to the studio with the hope of learning a memorable Daddy/Daughter Dance. Eugene assured us in the four weeks we had that it was enough time, but we had to work at it. I was skeptical, but trusted him. Good thing we did as not only did we learn to dance, we learned an entire session choreographed by Eugene in time and we really wowed the crowd!!! This memory will last a lifetime and I also will be able to dance with my daughter anytimennWe loved attending the group sessions and the Halloween costume party! They have a great dance community at this studio.nnNow, my daughter loved it so much, she continued with it and a year and a half later, she has become a fantastic dancer (that’s not just a Dad-brag). All the students are like a small, supportive community.nnIf I had to do it all again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. This studio, and Eugene and Igor, especially, are awesome!!!!!

Definitely give it a try, but WARNING, you may get addicted! The instructors are exceptional, the students at all levels are fun to hang out with on the dancing floor and beyond, the street level studio atmosphere and decor are inspiring and the sound system is excellent. Weather you aim to learn a new fun skill, get ready for a social dancing event, get fitter, improve coordination and ballance or be constantly in a happy mood.......you will find here what you are looking for, an very likely more. Take the challenge and you won't regret it, take my word for it!
