Cherry Grove Campground

Great park. Very organized, clean and friendly. Our pull through site was fantastic with no leveling needed. Owner was great as well, we ran out of fire wood after store hours, we happened to see her while she was conducting her walkthrough and she told us to come down to the store and she would give us some.

While this is mainly an RV campground, there is a delightful tent area with lots of trees. We were bike touring and spent one night -- thoroughly enjoyed it! The pool hit the spot after a long day on the bike, the campground store had awesome ice cream, and the facilities were very clean. What really stood out, though, was the help from the owner. We'd misplaced one of the bike helmets, and Susan went above and beyond to help us find it, checking with other guests, and making sure we left no stone unturned.nFor tent campers, you'll need to get water from the bathhouse, which isn't far, but there's no spigot in the tent area.nMasks were evident in the public areas, hand sanitizer was available in the restrooms (along with plenty of soap and paper towels), and signage encouraged safe behaviors. They are doing their part to keep everyone safe!

Cherry Grove is lovely. It's clean and we really loved the pool. The 5mph speed limit is strict. I have four kids and we always felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. We stayed for a full month!
