Ken is a talented teacher and musician.nI’ve been taking ukulele lessons with Ken for several years and this September joined his newly formed adult band. I am learning an amazing amount. Ken is not only a fantastic teacher and talented musician, but he is also a great person. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a quality guitar teacher. My daughter has been taking weekly lessons with Ken for over a year. Ken teaches the fundamentals of guitar and reading music while also encouraging and supporting his students to explore the music they enjoy. He asks the students what songs they are interested in and then finds a way to not only make the song work for the student’s level, but also helps them move forward in their skills. This student centered approach keeps music exciting and the students are motivated to practice and learn more! Ken’s style is laid back enough for the students to have fun and but also rigorous enough to keep them growing as musicians. I am very grateful to have found such a wonderful teacher for my daughter.

As a beginning adult student, I started studying with Ken 7 years ago. Now, thanks to his expansive musical talent and knowledge, professional and flexible teaching methods, supportive and friendly persona, I am hooked on the electric bass and a devoted student. Ken was the best bass teacher my son had as a teenager, and I am thrilled to continue the family tradition. I highly recommend Ken to anyone wanting to study guitar, bass, or ukulele at any level.
