V. Allegretta Electrical Corp.

These guys did a major job on my home some years ago - and every year I regret that they did. The 'master' electrician that they sent to the job had the WORST attitude in the world and no work ethic whatsoever. Each year we now encounter new issues in the home eg. in floor sockets that do not work and are burnt out (ie literally the wire is burnt - lucky my house did not burn down); wiring that was not properly capped off (eg in a fireplace where the wiring was required for the ignition - just discovered as we were trying to figure out why the fireplace had never worked); wiring that burned out and caused the controller which it was attached to to catch on fire because it was not properly installed; fans that were never synchronized properly so its impossible to control them reliably; some switches that just dont work. I can go on and on. I have had to incur new costs each year to remediate their POOR work by bringing in real electricians that take pride in their work - not hit and run specialists. These guys are BAD news and I would urge you to stay away from them. To add insult to injury, the guy bid my job and then when we cut out 50% of the lights he actually increased the cost. A real piece of work....

Allegretta did a full residential remodeling job for us a few years ago. The work was top notch and the prices very competitive - especially for the east end of Long Island. The electricians were responsible and skillful.
