Sat in indoor section of boat at a table. Chairs were comfortable, staff was attentive, you could have windows open or closed, drinks were reasonably priced. Guide/captain seemed very knowledgeable, overall very nice way to spend an hour.nn4 stars because once guests got settled in they were allowed to take their masks off regardless of where they were, seated, standing, etc. This meant that we didn't feel comfortable standing to take a peek out on the railing like the staff suggested, because people were out there without their masks on and you couldn't get past them safely.nnIf not for covid, overall really nice activity. Was nice having it at half capacity, I imagine full capacity must not be as comfortable/pleasant.
We booked this last second as we were visiting the area. It was easy to book online. The captain and crew members were lovely ladies who showed everyone a good time. They had drinks available for a price for people who wanted to drink. We found a spot near the front of the boat and so were able to see virtually everything. The other people on the lake are also very friendly, they waved to us whenever we passed them. The captain gave us a brief description of some of the big houses.
Great date night cruise w my wife. Nice way to see the water & homes plus learn some history of the area. Fun evening to cruise, walk around town, have a great meal + ice cream. Highly recommend! Will be back for the dinner cruise soon I hope!
The days weather couldn't have been more perfect. And the cruise was amazing. The Capt was very well informed. My wife and I would definitely recommend this tour of the lake to other visitors. Thanks for an enjoyable day. Gary & Linda. Lancaster,NY
Easy on and off. Captain/Skipper was very knowledgeable and the narrative was enjoyable. Wonderful, and to me at least the view of mind blowing estates. Crystal clear water. Beautiful estates and views. The only negative was the two women hosts that were quite involved in talking and being so loud that it was difficult at times to hear the speaker. But that only lasted a few minutes and wasn't a downer by any means. I would take the ride if I ever have the chance again. I had my binoculars with me and only got this one picture of a seagull when we were leaving port. Next time I will take pictures. Highly recommended.
