Delacorte Clock

A beautiful clock right outside Central Park Zoo!

Pretty neat and dandy place. Good quality!!! Very good for many many different people. A nice place to bring the family, and very well designed!!! And an wonderful time was had by all the people I was with. I would reccomend this place to many different people including my family and close friends.

Reminiscent of Herald Square's clock of animated ironwork sculptures, the Delacourte Clock chimes every half hour, to which everybody from the zoo and passersby flock. The ironwork is impressively lifelike. A sturdy plaque commemorates the clock, and a lone statue (like those which rotate) is niched facing northwards.

I was strolling by, taking my walk....the dellacorte clock chimes on the hour and plays music...very entertaining...

Beautiful statues and clock. Hard for small kids to see as it's high up. Behind and beyond the clock wall is a cute dancing? bear fountain with five frogs spouting water from their mouths, with benches to sit on. Also a guy playing sax in the alcove cave towards central park.
