Balto Statue

Balto was a real dog. He is best remembered for the Disney cartoon movie. This is a popular attraction for pictures. It's kind of easy to find. This is very close to the zoo.nIt's a big bronze statue on top of a rock. Lots of tourists like to get pictures with it. This makes it pretty hard to get a picture without tourists getting in your pictures too. Luckily they cleared out for awhile. The statue itself may not seem like anything special. After all, there are tons of statues in the park. This one is pretty important to dog lovers like me, so it's one of my favorites there.nIf you haven't seen the movie, see it before you go. It will give you background on Balto and the rescue mission. This is also just a good movie, for kids and adults too.

Beautifully and clean ver harmony. A place to sit and relax... I recommend to everyone..

Lovely little spot for kids. Often has street artists and musicians about. The lawns around have lots of bird and wildlife.

It's in an area where you have benches and can sit and relax as well as a grassy area to put a blanket down and relax and enjoy your day
