Top of The Rock provides probably the best view towards Central Park and the surrounding Manhattan. I was very excited for my first visit some years ago. Now, when I’ve been there multiple times, it feels all the same and I’m as excited as I can get. The last time we were there I took my nephew and he was very excited because he thought that he’ll meet Dwayne The Rock Johnson, hahahaha.nThe vistas are excellent any time of the day and the year. It’s probably super exciting now with the all the snow in Central Park and the skyscrapers around. It’s also great in the evening, with the sunset or with the city lights around.nI’m a huge fan of the Mezzanine Exhibition. It’s very insightful and carries so much history about something that we all know and love, as well as the era of when the Rockefeller Center was built. You can see the famous Lunch Atop a Skyscraper there, and you’ll have a chance to make one for yourself, but without having lunch so high above the ground.nIf you want to see New York from as high as possible without going to a plane or a helicopter tour – then this is your place!
Excellent location. Superb Customer Service. The views are beautiful. Speed of service was fast. Damon was very interactive and engaging which made our experience so much better. I appreciate how personable the staff were. Gift shop cashier Psebastia was so friendly and gave great recommendations. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend visiting Top of the Rock.
We were fortunate enough, on our first visit to be guided by a local. She said that we should not miss Top of the Rock. The whole building, indeed the whole plaza is a bastion of memories and uniquely New York culture.nNBC studios have an undeniable presence, and there is an exhibit to enjoy for only a token admission fee.
Great experience. The line was well organized to limit the number of people at the top. Stunning views. Don't miss out the very top level - it is really nice panoramic rooftop that allows you to see all manhattan and adjacent boroughs. If you bring binoculars, it would be even nicer.
Better to view the Manhattan skyline from here rather than Empire State. This way you see Empire State Building, Ground Zero and Statue of Liberty in one view. Turn around and look over the beautiful Central Park Area. Recommend purchase 2 entry pass. Go in morning and then at twilight on same day. Incredible.
