The employees at Gristedes are the best! So friendly and helpful I will go back to this store because of them ⭐

The employees are terrific and helpful. The store is very clean and has a variety of items.

Gristedes and I have a love/hate relationship.nIt’s still pretending like it’s the 1980s. Chinese, Mexican and Italian grocery are under the “international” aisle. I wonder sometimes if these food companies still even exist. That said if you need milk, eggs, pet food and a lightbulb- it’s a good place to get them.nnAnother point- this location is by the UN- it would be nice to see it offer more variety like Amish or Morton Williams down the street.

Always was shopping at that store , but won’t be again. Today while shopping there was an issue with the credit card machine. The cashier Laura instead of assisting me started to give me attitude and even screamed at me when I asked her help. She said I was nobody, and turned around. The manager who came to assist with the payment heard everything that happened. Nevertheless nobody apologized and did not seem to care about the customer. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional personal. This store should be closed. We don’t need in New York this kind of service. I can’t believe that in this hard times with COVID 19 situation people can be so careless about others.
