My experience renting a storage unit at Extra Space Storage on Third Avenue in Brooklyn couldn’t have been easier. Michael assisted me and he was extremely helpful. Not only did he determine exactly what I needed for the lowest cost, but he also went out of his way to help me unload my first batch of boxes from my car. The facility is clean, cool/well-ventilated, and secure. Overall it has been a fantastic experience and I would recommend to anyone I know looking for storage locally in Brooklyn.

We had a wonderful experience at this location, especially with Josie. We had a little mixup on the sizing of the unit we’d originally seen and the unit we were moving into that day. Well, Josie came in and saved the day by ensuring that we received a unit in the right size and in a great location in the facility. She even made sure we were accurately charged, even getting us a partial refund. She was warm and personable with us and our daughter, she physically helped us move our belongings to the new unit, and she maintained the utmost professionalism. If you’re looking for somewhere to store whatever you may need, make sure you come here and ask for Josie! She will take care of you and make you feel comfortable in what could be a stressful time, that is sometimes associated with needing extra space to store your belongings. We've been renting a unit at this location for almost 5 years and have been pleased with the service, location and facility until today. As we were taking a few things out of our unit today, we found moths had destroyed a rug and eaten through plastic garment bags storing summer clothing. When I called to see what could be done, the nice person at the front desk told me that since I didn't have insurance on the unit, there was nothing she could do. We spend $430/month on our unit, and I'm so frustrated. We visit our unit frequently and have not had any other issues with Extra Space.
