George and his crew were absolutely fantastic! I have always stressed about packing my things and they packed my entire apartment for me in a quick manner, as well as made sure everything was delivered with care. I HIGHLY recommend Imperial (and George!) for not only a local move in Manhattan, but also if you’re somebody who stresses out about packing boxes :) I had the elevators reserved for two hours and they had all my stuff in my new place within 45 minutes!nnI’m very happy overall from the customer care (Maya) to the time they left my new place. I will definitely be recommending for future moves.
Imperial Moving provided excellent service for my out-of-state move. Alex, Alex, and Alex provided excellent customer service and they were quick, careful and professional. They know what they are doing! Seeing them wrap my furniture I had no doubt that my personal property items were treated with the best of care. Very impressed and will use them if I move again and will also recommend them to anyone looking to do the same. Thanks guys!!!
I highly recommend using Imperial Moving for your next move! George, Javier and Rodriguez were absolutely amazing. They were timely, incredibly fast and efficient, and their rate is completely affordable and fair. Everything was delicately handled and delivered without a scratch. I trusted them to get the job done and they exceeded expectations. Will recommend them to everyone I know, it was well worth it!
We booked Imperial for an in-building move. The original estimate was $400 for both packing and moving which we thought was a little suspicious. On move day, they said it’ll be $700 for packing and moving which we agreed to. Then they said the couch was oversized, which to be fair, it was. But they also said they couldn’t do the couch because it was too complicated. So we have to get couch movers separately to do it for us. They didn’t even move the couch and charged us 1100 for the move excluding whatever we paid to move the couch. That’s 200% markup from the original estimate and they didn’t even ask us what kind of couch it was when we called them. They are not responding to our queries now. I think this place is a scam and you are better off moving on your own or using one of several other movers available in New York City. I’m not sure what’s going on here but you can not charge 1100$ for moving a one bedroom apartment in the SAME building WITH an elevator. And they didn’t even move the couch! Please avoid this place at all cost.
Since this particular move was the move into my newly purchased home, I was extremely selective in the company that would be responsible for moving me into my house. I am so glad that I selected Imperial Movers for this job. From the moment George arrived this morning @ 9am, he conducted an assessment of what we were moving, mapped our a plan for what we would do during the unload process & told me to relax & he would handle it! Needless to say, they completely handled everything. George & his team were extremely professional & courteous. Everything was properly and neatly placed into its proper position once we got to the new house. I am completely satisfied with their service and would highly recommend Imperial Movers in the future.
