Had a storage unit here for many years (before moving out of Manhattan). Super convenient location in Chelsea. If you can, avoid rentals in basement as we always saw water down there and it flooded during Sandy. Our unit was located in the basement and we never had an issue, but the end unit on our aisle did.
Great friendly service, easy convenient facility! The free shuttle was great and Cliff helped me pack and unpack the van so I gave him a tip. Michelle at check in was so lovely and helpful and not at all grumpy like another service person I’d met earlier in the week when I asked to be shown around. Preston is the general manager who is on hand to supervise and help with any questions and show you how to lock up properly. He runs a super clean and efficient facility with friendly and well trained staff. The rate was reasonable for the space. Note that is is NOT a 24/7 access site. It’s 7am-10pm which i wasn’t sure about but if you’re organized you shouldn’t need to access after hours. It is also spotless and well air conditioned everytime I’ve been there. The first unit I booked was too small but was really lucky to get a slight larger one at a great rate. So happy with this space!
I'll never go back if I don't have to because I was doing a favor that turned out to be more than what was requested and the staff didn't make it easier. I gave them 3 stars because for a storage warehouse it was really clean.
This place is run like the mexican border. We need wall.
Overall good hours and customer service. Can't say much about price as I didn't compare much but seemed fine. The problem recently was coming during covid, the elevator operator who has to run the elevator with you wasn't wearing a mask. I mean....
