Sleepy Hollow Camp Site

Full of mosquitos because the tent campground was just nearby the swamp, and the owner could have suggested another site by the river, but he didn't. Dirty restrooms. I wouldn't recommend it. Fortunately I only had to spent just one night and enjoyed camping at nearby state park.

Well kept campground, bathrooms very clean. Great location right on the Esopus creek and close to town. Owners are terrific people,

I rented a site on the river at sleepy hollow camp site for Tues-Fri and it provided an amazing respite from cabin fever. It is by far the cleanest and most peaceful campsite I've ever stayed at. Wyatt was a lovely host and even helped me hook up my trailer on my way out. It was a lovely week of writing, dips in the river and take-out from phonecia diner. Also, unlike most campgrounds, these guys have made a significant investment in their wifi systems and have very fast service...registered 30mbs on my speed test. I highly recommend!

Quiet and calm . Owners keep watch so it feels safe. No better way to relax!
