Pier 25 at Hudson River Park

Interesting idea to add a pier with activities that are otherwise difficult to find in New York. Has a skateboard park, beach volleyball, and a rather tame mini-golf (think hills and rocks rather than windmills). The playground is good for children training to be mountaineers - lots of climbing equipment (with a few swings). There is also a thin field that feels kind of like a filler or a mistake - too thin for sports, and the fake grass isn’t really comfortable for relaxing. Of course, a more natural area is only a short walk away at Rockefeller Park, so not a great loss.

The area is beautiful a lot families very safe and relaxing. My children had an amazing time. There was a sandbox box, swings, a jungle area for the children to play. There is an area for you to workout. Plenty of space to social distance and have a great time. Plenty of seating areas. There is a bathroom that's open for a long time.

Really beautiful landscape views of the skyline and the Hudson river, even though there are a lot of people who come here it always feels spacious and not too crowded. There is also a children’s park with swings and all that so it’s very family oriented as well. There are a lot of little art sculptures if you really look around and pay attention it is extremely interesting, the grass and landscaping are very well-kept. I recommend this place it’s wonderful.

I enjoy jogging every so often and seeing the beautiful scene.
