Collective Governors Island - A New York City Retreat

The experience was amazing. Quick ferry ride over, where the captain throws a bit of knowledge at you and gave a round about tour of the island. Then you're greeted by hosts who take your party by golf cart to the main dining area. We sat outside on one of the best summer nights, watched an amazing sunset and had a world class dinner from a renowned chef! So incredible. So a friend stayed here and I came to visit them on their last stay and on a day that I was on the island and I gotta say I was super impressed. The tents are super and those bathrooms I loved. Yeah I know to some it’s not camping but it’s a great experience. Yeah the price is high but hey an experience like that is worth every cent.

Very romantic date, we arrived at pier 25 and were taken on a nice boat ride to governors island and then whisked away on golfer carts to the dinner in a tent. Food was very good on the pricey side but worth it for the experience. Then after dinner we sat by a fire pit where you can purchase a s’more kit. 10/10 for romantic vibes, your significant other will be very happy.

I've been here before, a couple years ago with my sister, and they've made some additions since the last time I was. If you're craving cramping, it's literally a 5 minute ferry ride away. It tends to be a little pricey, but it's peaceful, quiet and a really good time.
