SeaGlass Carousel

This is my third or fourth trip to the Academy and I'm also delighted by my experience. I highly recommend making a trip during the week to avoid the weekend crowds. Also sign up early for the planetarium shows, they fill up quickly.nThe cafeteria food quality seems to have gone down since my last visit and is rather pricey especially if feeding a family. There are plenty of places to have picnics so I'd recommend packing a lunch/snacks. Aside from the cafeteria within the Academy there are no other nearby places to eat

Beautiful. Well keptnLine moves fast. Ride is a bit short but not too bad for $5. Great hot dog stand nearby.

We visited the SeaGlass Carousel (before COVID-19) and it was magical! It's a must when visiting NYC, and only $5 per person. Fun for all ages.

10/11/2020. Carousel is closed due to maintenance. That s what the sign says. Website is not being updated. Voice massage is not updated w current upto date info. ☹

Great place to go for a ride. It is fun for both adults and kids. Beat time to go is at night obviously because the lights are stunning. They just need to be cleaning the ride more often other than that love this place.
