Our district has amazing potential, great staff and some of the best students around. However, we also have an administrative policy that sends some of our special needs students away to their most restrictive educational environment possible after 8th grade, without regard for their physical, mental and emotional well being, and without consideration that they have been in district and educated since pre-k/k levels. This placement is not based on academic factors, rather administrative convenience. Therefore, they get this rating from me. Fix the poor and inappropriate treatment of our special needs children and I will fix your rating.
