Mootone Fine Japanese Cuisine

I love the Spicy Tuna rolls. I’ve travelled all over the world and theirs is the best! The service is always great! The food is outstanding! Fresh seafood and very well made!nnI’ve only been disappointed once by a new person who wouldn’t give me extra soy sauce when I asked for my takeout! That would be my only critique is that they only give you two small containers of soy no matter how much you order unless you know to ask! The manager though was very proactive!

Ambience of the place is cool. Very hip and trendy. Food is on point too. They mainly focus on hand rolls. I would recommend getting the full meal - last one on the list $23 - to try most of their specialty. Best one was the toro and salmon hand roll. Make sure to eat it at once while rice is still warm, really yummy! Check it out if you're in the area. Recommended!

There sushi is so good. They are so nice to us on the phone every time. Our orders are always right. This place is SO GOOD

Had a very poor experience with their delivery tonight. I ordered online and paid... gave explicit instructions to leave the order at the Emergency Department front desk... When I came out of a patients room I was caring for I looked at my cell phone and noticed a text that was 15 minutes old saying “ I’m outside” I called the number back and the young man answered. Long story short he said that it was gonna take another hour to come back. “ Dude I’m busy... I’ll be back in an hour” I tried to say to explain that I left instructions to leave the food at the front desk and he responded “ Dude ... I don’t know” so I called the restaurant and explained what happened and they were polite and said they would send a second order.....I gave them the ED number to call and not my personal cell...an hour later I once again came out of the patients room .. looked at my phone and noticed a missed call that was 15 minutes old.... I called the number back and was greeted with....” Dude I left your food at the Main Lobby” I said to him “ i said in my instructions to leave the food at the front desk of the Emergency Department “ his response “ Dude...I don’t know where the emergency department is I left it at the main lobby “ My response “ Dude it’s a giant red sign that says EMERGENCY....” so I call the main lobby they confirm that they do not have a delivery for me.... I call back the DUDE... and he tells me he left my order outside on the ground......Really??

My first time experience at Mootone leaves a whole lot to be desired. Taking into consideration the Corona Pandemic the actual portion verses price is insanely small. We all understand that the food service industry is taking a hit these days but one would think that they would go the extra mile to retain the customer base. NOT THE CASE AT MOOTONE FINE JAPANESE CUISINE!!!! Two thumbs down!!!
