Love JCPenny. Sales help is always super. They have quality items. My cashier was sweet as can be. It'd be nice if there was a JCP where I'm going overseas.

Went to the salon and Shyanne was incredible! She took the time and had patience to trim my 4 year olds hair. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!!

This review is a five star because of an associate that you have working there but it would have been a one star if I hadn't come across this associate before leaving your store. I was looking for a winter jacket, my first time in this store since moving here, I went to the jewelry area because it was the only place I could see a customer service representative... The representative was looking at her computer but clearly helping another customer. Since nobody was talking to one another, I asked the representative if she could show me where the checkout was and I apologized for interrupting her transaction. She looked back at me, didn't say anything, and went back to what she was doing. My husband, my son, and I just looked at each other and laughed like what in the world just happened. We stood there for about another minute as she then continued to help another customer. A different associate walked up and I asked her if she could show me where the checkout was so I could purchase my jacket, she directed me to the checkout area.nnAssociate 0630 at 4:54 p.m. was very helpful and didn't complain or make excuses when I told her I had a terrible experience from another associate. She apologized for my experience, we had a few laughs, and I told her she made my day a lot better because I felt it going downhill from the last associate.nnI've worked customer service over for over 20 years, I still do not to this day understand why they keep unhappy associates employed when their business A customer service representative is to be happy, outgoing, helpful, and courteous to the customers. It's really not that hard. I like to give a lot of them a benefit of the doubt because maybe they are having a tough day but to blatantly look me in my eyes and completely ignore me, is wrong, no excuse. She was beyond ignorant.nnAs I stated, the five star is for the associate that I ran into at the end of my trip into JCPenney's. She was very friendly, outgoing, and had a great personality. Upon entering the store, another associate, shorter, long brown dark-haired, young lady, was very helpful at pointing in the direction of where the jackets were as well.nnIt's when you come across the bad apples, that are still employed because they just need someone to fill that position, is what makes all other associates ornery and customers have a bad day. The type of lady that she portrayed herself as is someone that looked at me, judged me, and felt it was okay to ignore me. Not to fluff my feathers but I make more than that woman makes in 2 years working there. I'd like to think she was being ignorant based on maybe she couldn't sell us jewelry or maybe it was the fact that my husband was black? But I'm not going to take that ignorant route, and assume it's because I have a black husband. It's easily misconstrued, ya see?nnBe kind to whoever you come across, it wouldn't have been that hard to just tell me where I could check out, especially after I apologize for interrupting your transaction. But props to JCPenney's for hiring the other associates that made it a priority to help EVERY customer they came across. Thank you and God Bless you.

Great customer service and amazing clothes and the hair salon in there does an amazing job it is the only place I take my wife and daughter to now for there hair
