Whip-O-Will Campground

Arrived after dark so setting up was a little difficult! Our site was private with a picnic table. Playground and common areas are very nice. Apparently there are no rules for full timers as to clearing junk from their sites. Because of this we did not get a good feeling here. There was no hot water at the pay showers!

This is a very large campground filled with mostly seasonal trailers and rv campers. There is a lot of tent camping spots as well. The Brown Group Site is a nice wooded area which several areas to raise your tent. While I am not a seasonal camper here, all the seasonal people we've encountered are friendly. The pool is large yet small. It's very well maintained with a nice concrete deck. The lake is used for fishing. One can catch small fish to bass in there.nnThere is a quiet hour but security are friendly about it.nnI would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice atmosphere. For tent campers, I would recommend those who want to be camping under the tall trees and beautiful views of the Catskill Mountains.

Place was OK, but seems like most people leave the trailer park in the cities and towns to go to the trailer park in the woods. Owners were great, very hospitable, but didn't get a wink of sleep since the neighboring site literally had built a bar and served til the wee hours whoever wandered by.. wouldn't have had a problem had this not been advertised as a family camp ground, and I hadn't brought little kids to the party.. ud83eudd13

Had to leave a day early. Campers were crammed in like a sandwich. We had 2 little dogs and small camper and a huge camper was put next to us with 2 very large dogs. No refund but the nice lady working in the store appologized. The owner was supposed to speak with us but never showed up at our site. Very disappointed as we were enjoying our stayud83dude1e

Warm welcome by owners. Wonderful drive up to the campground. Great sense of entrance.
