Fishkill Baptist Nursery School

My oldest son attended the Bridge program at FB and transitioned into Kindergarten nicely. He was well prepared and ready for full day Kindergarten. My youngest attended the 3 year old program and is currently in the 4 year old program. The teachers are very nice, caring and structured. I am confident that he will also be well prepared for Kindergarten next year.

This is one of the schools I inquired about when looking for a preschool for my grandchild. Initially I was excited to come tour the school based on speaking with the director and checking out the website. My experience unfortunately was different as I feel that this school does not meet my expectations of what a school setting should be (decor, qualifications, overall atmosphere). I was told that this school has the most competitive rate around. I find this information to be inaccurate as any church affiliation is tax exempt which greatly impacts what one can charge regarding tuition. I feel that this is not a competitively fair way when comparing with other local facilities and their rates.

We cannot imagine a better place for our children to have had their first education experience. A safe and nurturing school; based on strong moral and ethical values, administered by amazingly talented, dedicated staff. It is also the most affordable pre-K in the area.

My child attended FBNS a few years ago in both the 3s and 4s classes. She had a good experience there and made a smooth transition to kindergarten with all the proper skills she needed. The teachers were loving to all the kids and the tuition was affordable. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good community nursery school.

I have been involved with the Nursery School for several years. The teachers are top notch and have a geniune passion for the children and their education.
