I have been a customer of Fahari’s for many years now. Almost every piece of African clothing in my closet come from Fahari Bazaar! The shop and shopping experience is peaceful and everything is beautifully laid out. The selection is sufficient to shop for myself, my family and for accessories in my household. What I love most is that in a country where sometimes you see a lot of the same African prints and cookie cutter style clothes, Fahari’s pieces stand out! I love the QUALITY simple classic cuts and designs of the dresses she’s envisioned. I love that the expertise and high quality execution of each item is done by Tanzanian women who are able to help support their families as a result of this work! I love that these women are highlighted on Fahari Bazaar’s website regularly, and that their stories are celebrated.nnI wear my Fahari Bazaar pieces at least a couple of times a week (I have sooo many items) and I get stopped almost every time by men and women alike who comment on the colors or the style/cut and ask where I got my dress. Fahari Bazaar is a beautiful purpose-led business, I feel simple yet glamorous whenever I adorn myself in one of these designs. And I can’t wait to see what she does next (maybe bringing a shop to the Deep South)!

Fahari Bazaar is a bright ,cheery space with the most beautiful prints! I've bought several dresses for my granddaughters here and the owner is the most welcoming spirit I've ever met in a store. Not only do you get a well made ,handcrafted gift or article of clothing you get a little history of where it comes from and the women who made it possible! Truly a wonderful experience. Oh and the dresses? So sturdy they made it handed down through three sisters!
