Absolutely beautiful camping/ hiking/ picnic area. The creek is close enough to hear the water running. Deer tracks along the creek Fire pit covered picnic table great place thank you to everyone who has visited for keeping it clean

This place is incredibly scenic. I highly recommend hiking down to the creek. It has lots of shale ledges, picturesque pools and little waterfalls. Great spot for photography. Also has a small primitive camping area.

During the day it is a great place for families. It is free camping if you can get a spot, but it's a local party place so come dusk it's a completely different atmosphere. Also trash and broken alcohol bottles are an issue.nnAlso some of the drunks will approach you or your tent late at night.nnDon't get me wrong it's not always this way, more often than not you're experience will be pleasant without concern but please go prepared, in groups, and self defense tactics, because its better to be safe than sorry.nnI will say Allegheny forest on both sides is far worse. You dont hear about it as often, but when you do run in to those parties it's like being in a horror film.nnSometimes paid camping is the safest bet, when it's free, it becomes home to partying, crime, and homeless.
