YMCA of Westfield

Working here for the last 12 years has been an experience of a lifetime. While I only work here part time, the friends I have made and lessons I have learned have made a lasting impact. I couldn't imagine teaching martial arts at any other facility. I am obviously biased, but it is refreshing to work at a place that is interested in the holistic growth of the entire community. This is a safe space for everyone.

Much bigger in the inside than what appears from the front/outside. Just finishing up some renovations. Two big pools and weight room is open now. Good parking lot across the road.

I have been a member of the westfield ymca for most of my life, and now my wife and child are too. We get friends to join and have made friends there too. It's a great, well-equipped place for every stage of your life. It has a great dedicated staff who we often run into in the area. Our child also attends it's great school with great, caring teachers. It's also very neat and clean and safe. Along with great swimming pools and gyms, the array of exercise classes and mind body practices such as yoga and tailoring chi are excellent. Overall it's a world-class center of health n community. For what you get the prices are very reasonable. Most other gyms have an abundance of knuckleheads. The y is a civilized community. Evan
