Mt Tabor Historical Society

Mount Tabor New Jersey has to be one of the coolest places I have ever seen. First It's apart of Parsippany, which is one of my favorite towns. The homes in Mount Tabor are amazing to look at. They are all unique and amazing. And I know people from Mount Tabor that are very nice. This place is a must visit. The historical society is doing a great job of preserving the towns history, and making sure the history is accessible online for new generations to learn about this one of a kind place. Kudos to them as well.

If Frodo Baggins or Gandalf from the Wold of Rings walks out of the the doors of one of these amazing houses I wouldn't not be surprised. Magical place, best kept secret jewel of Northern NJ ever

Mt Tabor is the most magical place to visit & to live. I called it a living historical village. Children's day & the house tour r amazing experiences

I came across with this little town from road 53. It's like a hidden germ in between a rail road(still fuctioning and train goes from here to Manhattan in 1.5 hours) and a hill. The hill is decorated by ~100 historical houses inhabitated by modern families and the majority of them are well maintained. I didn't get chance to look inside the historical society building. But what surrounding it is a living community. This is the most beauriful status for a historical place.
