Reviews
The Rabbi and Rabbinical students are thoughtful and reliable. They assist the local community in every way possible. We enjoy having them come to visit our senior living community.
In June of 2005 my husband, son and I moved to Randolph, NJ. We subsequently enrolled our son in a local preschool. The Director of the school was Chava Bekhor, the Rebbetzin of The Chabad of Randolph. I never could have known then, that selecting Hebrew Country Preschool would lead my family to years of learning, celebrating, friendships, and being part of an amazing community. 12 years later, many of the Preschool parents and morahs remain in close touch.nChava and Rabbi Bekhor immediately welcomed the school families into the Chabad community. We have been a part of Chabad since. The programs offered by Chabad of Randolph have multiplied in the past decade. Chabad of Randolph offers so much more than holiday services and basic Hebrew School. There are challah bakes, parties, plays, bonfires, barbeques, magicians, food and food (did I mention food) and so much more to help the parents and the children better understand each holiday and the proper way to celebrate it. Every holiday is now more meaningful than in my past.nChabad has educational programs, which at Chabad are always fun, for children of all ages. Then, when in the blink of an eye, your child(ren) become teenagers, there is CTeen! CTeen is Chabad’s youth group for teens. They gather and meet in the CTeen Lounge and learn, talk, and experience so much via the various speakers who visit with them. The Teens do many community functions, visiting the elderly, distributing food and helping in the animal shelters. Here, with their friends, they connect to their Jewish heritage. The CTeen Director with her energy and creativity has developed an amazing CTeen chapter.nTorah and Tea womens’ class meets each Tuesday at 10:00 AM. This class has personally taught me so much. I now understand the importance of the role of a Jewish mother and wife in a Jewish home and so much more. We have had a few guests attend our Torah and Tea classes, including women who have traveled the world listening to speakers and attending seminars. Each time they are amazed at Chava’s passion and enthusiasm and they always tell the “regulars” that we are blessed to have such closeness with our peers and the talent of our teacher. We know this and are so appreciative.nThe men attend Torah and Talks led by Rabbi Bekhor. I am told that they too find the classes gratifying, educational and warm.nMy family and the Randolph Chabad community are blessed to have Rabbi and Chava Bekhor, along with their amazing children, guiding us, motivating us and sharing with us their knowledge, warmth and friendship.nCome stop in for services, a Shabbat dinner, or a class for your child(ren) or yourselves. You will always be glad you attended and will leave with your soul enriched.
Nothing can describe the most uplifting Rosh Hashanah service I experienced here
