Waterloo Village

Nice place to take a stroll. Plenty of history. Beautiful water and canal views. Plenty of parking. Bring a lunch. Lots of hiking in the area.

Hadn’t visited since I was a child. Visited during the pandemic and after a snowstorm. Everything was closed, but it was one of the most beautiful places i have ever strolled.

Fascinating history, lots too see even when all the buildings are closed. If the main gate is closed for cars, just park in the parking lot and walk in.nnI found the information signs on the native american village a little outdated.

This is a fascinating spot. I came on a cold winter day, arriving shortly before sunset. I believe the park may be open after sunset as well.
