Crunch Fitness - Woodbridge

PROS:nNice gym, friendly people working at the front desk, great equipment.nnCONS:nWorkers do not show up to open the gym. Several times during the weekdays and weekends, the parking lot is packed with cars waiting for someone to open the gym. I've waited any hour several times and no show. If it continues, I plan to cancel being that I signed up for the earlier hours.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE!! So almost a year ago I made the decision to switch from Crunch to another gym. I tried to cancel my membership and they agreed to it. Few months later I come to find out that they had kept on charging me every month! (The bill was on my mothers card) Since then we have been disputing and fighting and arguing back and forth to refund us the money that's been charged WHILE THEY WERE CLOSED DURING COVID. How low of a profit do you guys be making when you were open to be charging us during covid? Absolutely ridiculous

I am not one to write reviews; however, I had to write this to save people their time and money. This gym deserves 0 stars. They are not willing to work with you through any unexpected financial hardship. Once you sign a contract, you are stuck and obligated to make every payment even if you do not use their services or else they threaten to send your account to collections. I have sent emails to different people and no one has replied.nIn addition, No one wipes down the equipment/machines here. There are many other gyms in the area that are better, cheaper, cleaner, and more understanding. I would NOT recommend this gym. Save your time and most importantly your money and find a better place with BETTER management.

I became a member of this gym at the end of September due to my previous gym shutting down. Compared to other gyms in this area this is one of the better options in reference to pricing and amenities else where. However, the gym can be very messy. Members do not rerack their weights and equipment gets left all over the gym. Wiping down machines is also not enforced by staff and there is always a shortage of disinfecting wipes. Finding plates can become a mission at times as well. They do not check temperatures at the door and many are seen throughout the gym not wearing their mask or wearing them incorrectly. I would hate to see this gym get shut down due to their lack of enforcement. Please do better in order to maintain a safe place for people to exercise.

Of course like many others I’ve been trying to cancel my membership before September as NJ was opening gyms . They’ve blatantly ignored me for the past 3 weeks so they could charge me ! I finally have the chance to go in because I’m upset about the charge and they “can’t refund” and there’s no one higher than the MOD Leann. They are basically stealing money from me and I refuse to ever go back to a crunch!
