My favorite Italian deli in the state of New Jersey. I been going here 20 years, to the old location on 27. The Route one location is smaller but still great. I always get the number #11 Spicey Italian and it’s maybe the best sub I ever ate. I live in Oregon now and I can’t get a decent sandwich to save my life. When I fly into Newark I have this place on my mind the whole time and it’s the first place I stop on my way to my moms. Go there. And eat. It’s all good. My only beef is that I don’t think they have scungilli or octopus anymore, maybe at the other locations I dunno.

The only problem with this place is there are too much deliciousness in one place it makes it hard to pick! Everything I’ve tried has been excellent! Super friendly service and quick!

Love this place! Fast and friendly service. Great selection of breads, cheeses, pantry items.. Delicious fresh muzz, pastas, meatballs, olives, mushrooms, etc. They also had the best Easter Pasteria (grain pie) I’ve ever had.

BEST SANDWICHES EVER. My fav is #11 Spicy Italian. It's incredible. Really nice quality deli meat, sliced thin, cold crispy iceberg lettuce, fresh rolls. Love the homemade hot and cold dishes. Perfect for lunch or dinner when I don't feel like cooking.
