I took the Nosh Walking Tour for Ethnic Foods in Rego Park Queens. I think we paid too much money for what we experienced. Myra seems like a nice enough person, however, we did not get exactly what was advertised. We were supposed to have a sit-down meal in a restaurant. When we got to the restaurant, we were told we needed a reservation. She should have researched this/known this beforehand. We got take out and proceeded to walk to a schoolyard where she said we could eat. The schoolyard was locked. We had to walk a few more blocks and eat the foods on a park bench. Most of the samplings from the bakeries and supermarkets were sweets. In addition, one of the items--samsa--we had to eat on top of a closed garbage disposal. As I said, the tour-guide seemed friendly, but this tour was not well organized and was way too much money for what we experienced. I would also have liked more cultural, culinary information.

Nice and tasty walk thru Flushing. Places you just wouldn't find on you own. Myra, the guide was fun, knowledgeable and original. Keep up the good work.

The presenter has no idea of food safety or hygiene. She licked her fingers and handed out food. It was so disgusting and I would never attend another. I would have liked to order for myself so I would get food that I like. I also wish there was more historical info incorporated.

Went on wonderful tour of Hasidic Williamsburg, finding bakeries I would not have noticed on my own. Will do this again!
