Randy is one of the best music teachers I've ever had. I got to choose all of the music I wanted to learn, and he taught me at my own pace. Randy is incredibly knowledgeable about the guitar. I have learned many different techniques used in different styles of music, on electric and acoustic, and I have come much farther than I thought I could in my first year of guitar lessons. Switching over to video chat lessons during the COVID 19 pandemic was a smooth transition, and though it was definitely an adjustment at first, I don't feel like much has been lost to not being able to meet in person. Randy is a great teacher and I would recommend him to anyone interested in learning how to play the guitar and play it well!

I have been taking guitar lessons with Randy for a little over a year now. I wanted to start doing something fun for myself and guitar is always something I've wanted to learn how to do. I really didn't know what to expect, but Randy is amazing! He is so fun and patient with me. We have a ton of laughs together and he is absolutely a brilliant musician. He adapts to whatever I feel like doing or playing and organizes the lessons around my interests. He also gives me a ton of positive feedback which is definitely something I need! I would ABSOLUTELY recommend him to anyone who is at any stage of their musical education. I didn't know anything when I started taking lessons with Randy. It was one of the best things I've ever done for myself! Thanks Randy!!!! Colleen

Are you looking to have fun while taking guitar lessons? Are you a kid, a teen, a Millennial, middle aged, or an old guy like me? Do you want someone to help you play the music you want to play rather than something that a teacher thinks you should play? Are you a busy person who needs some scheduling flexibility for lessons? If your answered yes to these questions, Randy is the guitar teacher for you.nnAfter ignoring my acoustic guitar for many, many years, I decided to perform at a high school reunion with high school friends. The reunion was in six months, and I needed help! I found Randy’s website and was impressed with his professional experience and his apparent willingness to help me with my music. And wow, did he help me, not only with technique but with the arrangements I did for the other guys. The reunion performance was a huge success, and I enjoyed the lessons with Randy so much that I decided to continue playing the guitar. I’m still taking lessons six years later… and still enjoying them very much.nnRandy is so friendly and great with people, young and old alike. I’ve been so impressed with how well he works with kids, as well as his older students. I’ve really liked how Randy helps me approach and learn songs that seem far beyond my ability and how he encourages my own arrangements. I’ve taken many, many lessons over the years on many, many different instruments, and I’ve never enjoyed any more than my lessons with Randy.
