The Eliot Meat Market was a staple growing up, grabbing some food and drinks after skating all day with friends. Stopped by for old times' sake and really wish I hadn't. Definitely not the most sanitary sandwich making going on behind the counter, really should wear gloves or at least not touch your hair and face before food prep. Come to find out it's under different ownership which explains why it's not what I remember. It's a shame to see as well as the skate park being abandoned.
I’m a local with a background in culinary and will say pizza comes in many forms. And not everyone likes every type of pizza. But in my opinion, the pizza I had last night was the best pizza in Eliot by far!!! I hope it’s like that every time.
The Eliot Meet Market Store, check it out! Scott will make you whatever you want! Friendly staff, exceptional beer selection dont forget the wine. A great quick stop for food and drink. Kid friendly, slushies! Lobster rolls, BLT, Burgers, Subs, Pizza, chip racks, icecream. Powerball tickets. He's got it all!
