Awesome unknown camping/boating spot. There's a small range right on the turn off from sawyer highway, then as you follow the road up there are a few primitive sites with room for cars. If you continue on the road and go left the road gets a little rougher (this section isn't on google maps) but there are a few more sites on the pond with great views, and there's a nice boat launch as well. Hiked Moosilauke and stayed the night here, it's a great little spot. Bumped into some National forest folks who said it was fine to camp as long as we packed everything out. No fee, but no services at all. Minimal phone service (3g near the lake, enough to make a phone call on Verizon)
