What a fantastic hidden gem. It has all of the outdoor fun anyone could ask for.
Loud. Don't tent camp. In March I woke up a half dozen times in the middle of the night as folks from town cruised through the campsites slowly. Sweet dreams!
Buffalo Bill State Park Campground is nestled on the outskirts of North Platte, Nebraska. Went tent camping and was amazed at how large the tent sites were (great value). What the campground lacked in modern amenities, it made up for with the surrounding nature. Had the most amazing views of sunrises and sunsets over the river. Fishing, tubing, and horseback riding are right at the campground.
Camp ground had lots of noncampers in it . We even had homeless man come to our campsite , asking for food or money.. Cars were also going faster than posted speed limits. Had clean grounds but not sure how bathrooms were never used. To read more about campgrounds go to www,d2e-4-rv.com
