Quit and peaceful had entire place to myself under the stars
Came here late last night, looking for a place to tent on our way through. The woman who checked us in was incredibly kind and very nice. We tented in a large field. It was windy but not a problem for us. It is quite a bargain for a quick night. We stopped briefly to ask a question to some of the others staying in RVs and they were equally friendly. Porta-potties for bathrooms and no picnic table, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. But if you're looking for a quick stopover just to sleep, this was a pretty, inexpensive place - right on the water - to pitch a tent with a wonderful campground host.
Stunning campgrounds. Power and views of the reservoir.
Good place to fish, but game and park don't take as good of car of it as they should especially when it comes to turning the water every year. And a lot of out of staters don't like to pick up they're trash.
overnighted sept '19 traveling through. electric and water and view but no bathrooms/showers/picnic tables. $25. Personnel were friendly. For me it was just a place to park for night. Lincoln Highway passes nearby, a nice change of pace from the interstate.
