My family had such a wonderful experience at Lakeview Campground. The grounds are amazing and we had so much room to walk our dogs. Our spot had a view of the lake, plenty of grass area in between spots, picnic table, and garbage conveniently located nearby. We would 100% recommended this location!
We love it! Especially for Fall Camping. Game and Parks is doing some updating to the power system so we might have to move to Branched Oak next week.
Nice campground, well maintained, often there's a good breeze off the lake. Watch your stuff really close though, I've been ripped off a few times, and I'll never figure out why they don't use motion detector lights in the bath/shower building which would cut down on the massive number of bugs they have coating the sinks and stools at night or why they haven't gone to pay showers like other campgrounds with adjustable hot and cold valves.
Loved it was a great Easter weekend!
Really enjoyed it here. I am a tent camper in a sea of RVs, but it was great fun! Well maintained, clean facilities, friendly staff.
