This is a staple stop anytime of year! Make sure all of your skin is covered in the winter as wind chill can surprise you. Sunset pictures are amazing

Beautiful waterfront area with walking trails, next to the lighthouse, and the working ore docks, as well as a very active boat landing for fishermen and sailboats. There are also two old train engines here. Two Harbors is a wonderful little town.

Great place to visit while in the area. Paved path out to the breakwall, and often great views of the incoming ore ships. There's also a gravel path around the point with access to walk or climb on the rocks right up to the lake.nnThe wind off the lake can be cool or downright frigid, depending on the direction and season, so long sleeves are nice to have even in summer.nnNo full public bathrooms, but there is an outhouse by the boat launch.

Beautiful view of the Lake. Interesting view of the shipping docks. A very pleasant invigorating walk to the current modern lighthouse. It is neat to compare this modern one to the old lighthouse on the shore. It is much bigger and taller. It was interesting to see how the Army Corp of Engineers make a breakwater by examining it. There are little stairs to the lower, outward part. Be very careful though. It's safer to stay on the top part.
